When referencing God’s wondrous act of grace in his life, John Newton said it like this, “Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.” It is AMAZING!
I once heard this definition of grace that pretty well sums it all up. “Grace is the spontaneous, selective, unconditional, uninvoked love and favor that the Infinite, Benevolent, Sovereign God bestows upon entirely undeserving, i.e. hell-deserving, man.”
That is pretty AMAZING indeed!
